WHAT IS ADAPLE C GEL?
ADAPLE GEL contains an active ingredient called Adapalene and Clindamycin
It is used for skin purpose only
WHAT ADAPLE C GEL IS USED FOR?
It is used to treat acne vulgaris in people 12 years of age and older. Acne vulgaris is a condition in which the skin has blackheads, white heads and pimples
It is used to treat mild to moderate acne(spots)
WARNINGS AND PRECAUTIONS:

Talk to your doctor before applying ADAPLE C GEL, if you:
Are allergic to ADAPLE GEL or any of the ingredients of this medicine
Have other skin problems, including cuts or sunburn
Have any other skin conditions
PREGNANCY & BREAST FEEDING
If you are pregnant or breast-feeding, think you may be pregnant or planning to have baby, ask your doctor for advice before taking this medicine
CHILDREN & ADOLESCENTS
ADAPLE GEL should not be used by children under the age of 12 years
DRIVING & USING MACHINES
ADAPLE GEL doesn?t have any effect while driving or using machines
INTERACTIONS:
Tell your healthcare provider about all the medicines you take, including prescription and over-the-counter medicines, vitamins, and herbal supplements especially if you are using:
Topical medicines that contain sulfur, resorcinol or salicylic acid, alpha hydroxy or glycolic acid
Using or any other topical preparation such as erythromycin metronidazole or aminoglycosides
DIRECTIONS & FOR USE:
- Always apply this gel exactly as your doctor has told you
- You should use ADAPLE GEL once a day. Wash as normal, rinse well and pat your skin dry
- Apply a small amount of gel in a thin layer to the whole of the area where you usually get the spots
- It should be used for a maximum of 12 weeks
- You may need to use more than one tube of ADAPLE C GEL during each course of treatment
- Try not to pick or squeeze spots as this can make your acne worse and even lead to scarring
- Do not use ADAPLE C GEL in or on your mouth, eyes or vagina
- It can make your skin sensitive to sun and the light from tanning beds and sunlamps
If you use more ADAPLE C GEL
If you apply too much ADAPLE C GEL just wash your treated skin with plenty of water. There may be a chance of increase in skin irritation, contact your doctor or your local hospital
If you forget to use ADAPLE C GEL
Use it as soon as you remember and then continue to use as your doctor has told you. Do not apply a double dose to make up for a forgotten application
If you stop using ADAPLE C GEL
If you stop applying too soon your infection may come back again or get worse
Do not stop taking ADAPLE GEL unless your doctor tells you to do so
SIDE EFFECTS OF ADAPLE C GEL:
SERIOUS
Like all medicines, the medicine can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them.
Adapalene:
Redness or dryness of the skin
Stinging or burning sensation in the skin
COMMON

Skin peeling
Sunburn
Clindamycin:
Dry skin
Redness of the skin
Skin burning
Irritation around eyes
Worsening of acne
Itchy skin
UNCOMMON

Clindamycin:
Painful skin
Scaly rash
Inflammation of the bowel
Diarrhea with blood and mucus
STORAGE:
- Protect from excess heat and light
- Keep out of reach of children
- Store at room temperature (15-25°C)
- Do not use this medicine after the expiry date
INTRODUCTION
Adaple Gel is only meant for external use and should be used as advised by your doctor.
You should normally wash and dry the affected area before applying a thin layer of the medicine.
It should not be applied to broken or damaged skin.
Avoid any contact with your eyes, nose, or mouth. Rinse it off with water if you accidentally get it in these areas.
Side effects
Inform your doctor if you have any problems with your bowels (intestines), or if you are using any other medicines to treat skin conditions.
Consult your doctor about using this medicine if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.

This kills acne-causing bacteria and prevents spots or pimples from appearing.
It usually takes a few weeks to have a noticeable effect so keep using it even if it appears not to be working.
Sometimes acne may get worse before it gets better, however, with proper use, your skin will get clearer. The earlier you start using it, the less likely you are to get scars.
This medicine will help improve your mood and uplift your confidence as your skin becomes acne-free. It should not be used if you have eczema or sunburned skin.

HOW TO USE ADAPLE GEL
Clean and dry the affected area and apply the gel. Wash your hands after applying, unless hands are the affected area.

Adapalene is a form of vitamin A which prevents accumulation of the sebum (skin’s natural oil), unblocks the pores and allows natural exfoliation of the outer layers of skin.
Clindamycin is an antibiotic which works by penetrating into the skin and killing acne-causing bacteria.
