CHILDREN AND ADOLESCENTS
CRIXAN is not recommended for children below 12 years of age. Consult your doctor for advice
DRIVING AND USING MACHINES
CRIXAN does not affect your ability to drive or operate machines

Any topical corticosteroids
DIRECTIONS FOR USE:
Always use this medicine exactly as your doctor has told you
Always wash your hands before and after using the cream
It is for external use only
Apply a thin film of the gel to the affected area
Avoid contact with eyes, lips or mucous membranes
Caution is advised when used on the face due to the potential for irritation
If irritation or sensitivity occurs, should discontinue the medication
Do not apply in larger quantities than recommended
If you use more CRIXAN
If you use more CRIXAN, consult your doctor for advice
If you stop using CRIXAN
Do not stop using CRIXAN unless your doctor instructs you to do so
SIDE EFFECTS OF CRIXAN:
Like all medicines, CRIXAN can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them.

Redness of skin
Dry skin
Skin peeling
Skin discoloration
STORAGE
Protect from excess heat and light
Keep this medicine out of reach of children
Store at room temperature (15-25°C)
Do not use this medicine after the expiry date
Additional information
Crixan Gel is only meant for external use and should be used as advised by your doctor.
You should normally wash and dry the affected area before applying a thin layer of the medicine.
It should not be applied to broken or damaged skin.
Avoid contact with your eyes, nose, or mouth. Rinse it off with water if you accidentally get it in these areas.

It may take several weeks for your symptoms to improve, but you should keep using this medicine regularly.
Do not stop using it as soon as your acne starts to get better.

Side effects
It is a safe medicine, but you should inform your doctor if you have any problems with your bowels (intestines), if you have ever had bloody diarrhea caused by taking antibiotics or if you are using any other medicines to treat skin conditions.
Consult your doctor about using this medicine if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.

It is also effective against a bacteria known as H. pylori, which is associated with peptic ulcer disease.
It stops further growth of the bacteria causing the infection and helps treat your infection.
This medicine usually makes you feel better quite quickly. However, you should continue taking it as long as it is prescribed even when you feel better, to make sure that all bacteria are killed and do not become resistant.
