Ebmont LC Tablet is a combination medicine that contains levocetirizine and montelukast. It is a very effective and potent medication mostly used to treat year-round allergic symptoms like runny nose, watery eyes, sneezing, itching, hives, etc. This is a widely used combination medicine in providing relief from blocked nose.
Ebmont LC Tablet stops the activity of the chemical substance that causes allergic symptoms. You may experience side effects like drowsiness, fever, rash, weakness, etc. Finish your entire course of treatment with tablet, even if the condition gets better after taking a few doses as abrupt stopping may recur the symptoms.
If you still feel unwell even after completing your treatment course, inform your doctor. Inform your doctor about all other medications you are using, because tablet may interact with them.

Tablet is one of the best medicines used in treating symptoms of allergic rhinitis.
Allergic skin conditions
The symptoms of allergic skin conditions are hives, redness, rash, swelling and itching etc. These can be seen as a response of your immune system to the allergens. Tablet is used to treat symptoms of allergic skin conditions.
When not to use?
Allergy
Avoid using Ebmont LC Tablet if you are allergic to it or any other formulation containing it. Seek immediate medical attention if there are major allergic reactions such as skin rash, itching/swelling (especially of your face/tongue/throat), severe dizziness, breathing difficulties, etc.
Kidney disease
Do not use Ebmont LC Tablet if you have severe kidney problems as an impaired kidney can not clear this medicine completely and lead to its accumulation. It may cause serious undesirable effects.
Dosage
Missed Dose
Try not to skip the scheduled dose of Ebmont LC Tablet. If you forget to take a dose, take it as soon as you remember. Do not take two doses together to make up for a forgotten dose.
Overdose
Never take more than the prescribed dose. Consult your doctor if you suspect that you might have taken an overdose of Ebmont LC Tablet.

How it works
Levocetirizine blocks the action of a chemical substance (histamine) produced by your body that is responsible for causing allergic symptoms. Montelukast reduces the response of certain specific chemicals (leukotrienes) that causes swelling in your airways and the nose. Thus, the combination is effective in treating allergic symptoms.
