singulair 10mg Tablet is a prescription medicine used for asthma prevention and for the treatment of allergy symptoms such as sneezing and runny nose. It reduces inflammation in the airways and makes breathing easier.
Tablet can be taken with or without food. Take it at the same time to get the most benefit. It is advised to have it 2 hours before exercise if you have exercise-induced asthma. It should be taken as your doctor’s advice. The dose and how often you take it depends on what you are taking it for. Your doctor will decide how much you need to improve your symptoms. Swallow the tablets whole with a drink of water. You should take this medicine for as long as it is prescribed for you. It does not cure sudden breathing problems, so always carry a medicated inhaler with you.
It is generally safe medicine with few common side effects include nausea, vomiting, headache, abdominal pain, and diarrhea. If these bother you or appear serious, let your doctor know. There may be ways of reducing or preventing them. Generally, you should avoid alcohol while taking this medicine.

singulair 10mg is used for the long-term management of asthma in adults and children ages 12 months and older
It is used to treat seasonal allergic rhinitis (outdoor allergies that happen part of the year) in adults and children ages 2 years and older, and perennial allergic rhinitis (indoor allergies that happen all year) in adults and children ages 6 months and older

Limited information is available on the use of Singulair 10mg Tablet in these patients. No dose adjustment is recommended in patients with mild to moderate liver disease.
WHAT IF YOU FORGET TO TAKE SINGULAIR TABLET?
DIRECTIONS & FOR USE:
For adults and children 12 months of age and older with asthma
Take singulair 10mg once a day in the evening
Take this medicine every day for as long as your doctor prescribes it, even if you have no asthma symptoms
You may take this medicine with food or without food
For patients 15 years of age and older for the prevention of exercise-induced asthma:
Take singulair 10mg at least 2 hours before exercise
If you are taking this medicine daily for chronic asthma or allergic rhinitis, do not take an additional dose to prevent exercise-induced asthma
Do not take an additional dose of this medicine within 24 hours of a previous dose
For adults and children 2 years of age and older with seasonal allergic rhinitis or perennial allergic rhinitis:
Take singulair 10mg once a day, at about the same time each day
Take singulair 10mg every day for as long as your doctor prescribes it
You may take singulair 10mg with food or without food
If you take more singulair 10mg
If you take too many tablets, or if someone else has taken your medicine, talk to your doctor immediately and you may need Medical attention
If you forget to take singulair 10mg
Take it as soon as you remember it. However, if it is nearly time for the next dose, skip the missed dose. Do not take a double dose to make up for a forgotten dose. Never take two doses on the same day
If you stop taking singulair 10mg
Do not stop taking or lower the dose of your other asthma medicines unless your doctor tells you to do so

Store at room temperature (15-25°C)
Do not use this medicine after the expiry date
