Amicline Tablet is a medicine that is used as a primary agent in the treatment of asymptomatic amoebiasis (worm infection). It works by killing the microorganism that causes infection.

Amicline Tablet has some side effects like headache, nausea, vomiting, stomach pain, flatulence etc. These side effects are mild and may subside by themselves.

Avoid skipping any doses and finish the full course of treatment even if you feel better. Do not take a double dose to make up for a missed dose. Simply take the next dose as planned.

You may be monitored with blood tests and liver function tests throughout your treatment as this medicine may lead to abnormal liver function tests too.

Amicline Plus Tablet is a combination medicine that contains diloxanide and ornidazole as its active components. It belongs to the class of medicines called Anti-amoebic and Anti-diarrhoeal respectively.
It is used in the treatment of intestinal and extra-intestinal infection caused by Entamoeba histolytica.
It is also used in the treatment of protozoal infections such as giardiasis caused by Giardia lambia.
