Amicline Tablet
Amicline Tablet is a medicine that is used as a primary agent in the treatment of asymptomatic amoebiasis (worm infection). It works by killing the microorganism that causes infection.
Amicline Tablet has some side effects like headache, nausea, vomiting, stomach pain, flatulence etc. These side effects are mild and may subside by themselves.
Consult your doctor if any of these symptoms bother you or persist. Do not take this medicine if you are allergic to it.
Amicline Tablet can be taken with or without food. Take this medicine in the dose and duration prescribed by your doctor.
Take it daily at the same time for the ease of remembering and for its better results. Complete the course of treatment even if you feel well after taking a few doses. Drink plenty of water to avoid dehydration.
Amicline Tablet is not recommended for use in children less than 25 kg body weight as the dose of this medicine is based on the body weight.
This medicine alone is not effective for the treatment of invasive or extraintestinal amoebiasis (affecting the liver). Inform your doctor if you have liver or kidney problems, low blood count, and about your ongoing medications. Consult your doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding before taking this medicine.
Amicline Tablet belongs to the class of medications called luminal amebicide. It is used in the treatment of worm infections and intestinal infections caused by an organism called amoeba (intestinal amebiasis). It kills the infection-causing microorganisms. Read more: Amicline Tablet
Amicline Tablet should be used in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. It may be taken with or without food, preferably at a fixed time.
Avoid skipping any doses and finish the full course of treatment even if you feel better. Do not take a double dose to make up for a missed dose. Simply take the next dose as planned.
Some people may experience nausea, headache, stomach pain, hair loss, and vomiting as the side effects of this medicine. Please consult your doctor if these side effects do not resolve or persist for a longer duration.
You may be monitored with blood tests and liver function tests throughout your treatment as this medicine may lead to abnormal liver function tests too.

Dosage of Amicline Plus Tablet 50
If you have taken too much of this medicine and experience any of the side effects, then contact your doctor or reach out to the nearest hospital immediately.
If you have missed taking any dose of the Amicline Plus Tablet, then take it as soon as you remember. If it’s already time for the next dose then skip the missed dose and follow the regular dosing schedule.
