WHAT IS REDHAEM?
REDHAEM contains Iron, Folic Acid
Redhaem Tablet contains Iron and Folic Acid (vitamin B9). Folic acid is essential to numerous bodily functions ranging from nucleotide biosynthesis to the remethylation of homocysteine.
It is especially important during periods of rapid cell division and growth. Both children and adults require folic acid to produce healthy red blood cells and prevent anemia.
Iron transports oxygen throughout the body and maintains red blood cells, thus making an individual feel energetic and preventing anemia. Read more: Redhaem Tablet
Redhaem Tablet is used for the treatment of
Iron deficiency anemia,
Iron deficiency due to chronic blood loss or low intake of iron
Iron deficiency anaemia and nutritional anaemia that occurs especially during pregnancy and lactation.
Redhaem Tablet can be taken orally with water, after meals.

REDHAEM is used in the management of:
Iron deficiency anemia
Menorrhagia and folate deficiency anemia
Foetal neural tube defects
Anemia due to pregnancy and lactation
Generalized weakness
Iron deficiency either due to chronic blood loss or poor absorption

Are allergic to any of the ingredients in REDHAEM
Have peptic ulcer
Have regional enteritis
Have ulcerative colitis
Have bacterial infections
Have hemosiderosis, hemochromatosis and hemolyticanemia
Have liver or kidney disease
PREGNANCY & BREAST FEEDING
If you are pregnant or breast-feeding, think you may be pregnant or are planning to have a baby, ask your doctor for advice before taking Redhaem Tablet

Revofer Injection 10 ml is unlikely to affect your ability to drive. However, drive or operate machinery only if you are alert.

GI upset, black stools, abdominal discomfort or pain by oral therapy.
What do I do if I miss a dose
Take a missed dose as soon as you think about it. If it is close to the time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your normal time. Do not take 2 doses at the same time or extra doses. Do not change the dose or stop this drug. Talk with the doctor.
What precautions should I take when taking Elemental Iron :
Tell your doctor if you are allergic to any drugs. Make sure to tell about the allergy and what signs you had. This includes telling about rash; hives; itching; shortness of breath Redhaem Tablet; wheezing; cough; swelling of face, lips, tongue, or throat; or any other signs.
When do I need to seek medical help
If you think there was an overdose, call your local poison control center or ER right away. Signs of a very bad reaction to the drug. These include wheezing Redhaem Tablet; chest tightness; fever; itching; bad cough; blue or gray skin color; seizures; or swelling of face, lips, tongue, or throat. Very bad headache.
Can I take Elemental Iron with other medicines:
Sometimes drugs are not safe when you take them with certain other drugs and food Redhaem Tablet. – Taking them together can cause bad side effects. – Be sure to talk to your doctor about all the drugs you take.

How do I store Elemental Iron :
Store in a cool, dry place away from the reach of children. – Medicines must not be used past the expiry date.
