HOW TO USE VITCOFOL INJECTION
HOW VITCOFOL INJECTION WORKS
VITCOFOL INJECTION 10ML belongs to the class of ‘Vitamins’, primarily used to treat nutritional deficiencies. It is used to treat and prevent niacin deficiency (pellagra), folate deficiency, and vitamin B12 deficiency. Nutritional deficiency occurs when the body is unable to absorb or get enough nutrients from food. It could lead to various health problems, including defective bone growth, skin disorders, digestive issues, and dementia (memory loss).
INJECTION 10ML contains Folic acid, Cyanocobalamin/Vitamin B12, and Nicotinamide (vitamin B3). Folic acid helps in the formation of red blood cells and prevents DNA changes that may lead to cancer. Cyanocobalamin regulates body functions, such as cell multiplication, blood formation, and protein synthesis. Nicotinamide (also known as Niacinamide) helps in replenishing the energy in the body cells and provides essential nutrients.
Your doctor will decide the dosage and duration of INJECTION 10ML based on your medical condition. Sometimes, INJECTION 10ML may cause common side effects like nausea, upset stomach, and diarrhoea. These side effects do not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time. However, if the side effects persist or worsen, please reach out to your doctor.
Let your doctor know if you use prescription, non-prescription drugs, and herbal products before starting INJECTION 10ML. If you are allergic to any of the components in INJECTION 10ML, please inform your doctor. If you are a pregnant or breastfeeding mother, please consult your doctor before taking INJECTION 10ML. It is advised to limit or avoid alcohol intake to get maximum absorption of vitamins.
