METAGARD is used in combination with other medicines to treat angina pectoris
It protects the heart cells from the effects of a reduced oxygen supply
DIRECTIONS & FOR USE:
Always take METAGARD exactly as your doctor has told you
The recommended dose of METAGARD 20mg to be taken three times a day during meals
Patients with kidney disease and elderly patients
If you have kidney problems or if you are older than 75 years old, your doctor may adjust the recommended dose
For patients with severe kidney disease: not recommended
If you take more METAGARD
If you take too many medicine, please contact your doctor or the nearest hospital emergency department immediately
If you forget to take METAGARD
If you forget to take one or more doses, do not take a double dose to make up for a forgotten dose
If you stop taking METAGARD
You should discuss with your doctor before you stop taking your medicine
Tablet should be taken regularly as advised by the doctor. You should take it with or without food and at a fixed time.
Your doctor will decide how often you should take this medicine. This may change from time to time depending on how well it is working.
You should take this medicine regularly to get the most benefit, even if you feel fine.
