It is used to prevent angina pectoris

CHILDREN & ADOLESCENTS

NITROFIX SR 30MG is not suitable for children

DRIVING & USING MACHINES

NITROFIX SR 30MG may give you a headache, blurred vision or make you feel dizzy or tired. If this happens to you, do not drive or operate machinery

INTERACTIONS:

Tell your doctor if you are taking,

Sildenafil used for impotence
Riociguat, used in treating pulmonary hypertension
Medicines to lower your blood pressure
Monoamine oxidase inhibitors (used to treat depression)
Tricyclic antidepressants (used to treat depression) and neuroleptics (used to treat anxiety)
Ergotamine used for migraine
Sapropterin used for phenylketonuria (PKU)

DIRECTIONS & FOR USE:

Always take this medicine exactly as your doctor has told you
Swallow the medicine whole with a drink of water

If you take more NITROFIX SR 30MG

If you take more, immediately contact the nearest hospital casualty department or your doctor

If you forget to take NITROFIX SR 30MG

Do not take a double dose to make up for a forgotten dose. Take your next dose at the usual time

If you stop taking NITROFIX SR 30MG

Do not stop taking NITROFIX SR 30MG without first talking to your doctor. You should keep taking your medicine until your doctor tells you to stop.

If you stop taking the medicine your condition may get worse

Alcohol

Consuming alcohol while taking Nitrofix SR 30 Tablet may cause symptoms such as flushing, increased heart beat, nausea, thirst, chest pain and low blood pressure (Disulfiram reaction).

Pregnancy

Breast feeding

Liver
