Monoguard Shampoo is a combination medicine used in the treatment of dandruff and provides a shiny appearance to hair. It works by stopping the growth of microorganisms that cause dandruff.
Shampoo is for external use only. You should use it in the dose and duration as directed by your doctor. The amount you need, and how long you should take it will depend on what you are being treated for.
Do not leave it for too long, as long term contact may cause irritation or burning sensation. You should avoid getting in contact with your mouth, eyes, and nose.
In case of accidental contact, wash it off with plenty of water. Keep using it regularly to get the most benefit.
The medicine is generally safe to use with no common side effects. Inform your doctor if you experience skin irritation, redness or itching at the site of application.

Monoguard Shampoo 60 ml is a combination of two antifungal drugs, namely: Sertaconazole nitrate and Zinc pyrithione.
Shampoo 60 ml works by damaging the fungal cell membranes that are essential for their survival as they prevent the entry of unwanted substances into the cells and stop the leakage of cell contents. Thus, Monoguard Shampoo 60 ml kills fungi causing dandruff and provides relief from flaky and itchy scalp.
Monoguard Shampoo 60 ml is only for external use. Use Shampoo 60 ml as advised by your doctor. You are recommended to use Shampoo 60 ml for as long as your doctor has prescribed it based on your medical condition.
Some people may experience irritation at the site of the application. Most of these side effects of Shampoo 60 ml do not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time. However, if the side effects persist or worsen, please consult your doctor.

DIRECTIONS & FOR USE:
Always use this medicine exactly as your doctor had told you
Wet the hair thoroughly
Apply a small amount of shampoo to the scalp
With the tips of the fingers, massage in thoroughly
Leave on for a few minutes
Rinse out well under running water, then dry the hair as normal
If the product gets into the eyes rinse with plenty of water
If you use more MONOGUARD
If you, or anyone else, accidentally swallows the MONOGUARD contact your doctor or nearest hospital straight away
If you forget to use MONOGUARD
Don?t worry if you forget to use MONOGUARD at the right time. When you remember, start using the product again, in the same way as before
If you stop using MONOGUARD
Do not stop using MONOGUARD before your doctor tells you to do so
