Otiflox Ear Drop is used to treat ear infections. It works by killing microorganisms that cause infection. It blocks the release of certain chemical messengers that cause redness, swelling, and itching. It also works by blocking pain signals to the brain to decrease the pain sensation.

Otiflox Ear Drop is for external use only. Never use drops if the seal is broken before you use it for the first time. Wash your hands before using it.

Follow the instructions given by your doctor and use it in the dose and duration suggested by the doctor.  Do not stop using it until you have finished the complete course, even when you feel better.

The medicine is generally safe to use with no common side effects. It is not likely that other medicines you take by mouth or injection will affect the way it works but talk to your doctor before using it if you have used a similar medicine before and had an allergic reaction.

Clotrimazole belongs to the class of antifungals that works by damaging the fungal cell membranes and kills fungi. Lidocaine is a local anesthetic that decreases pain sensation by preventing pain signals from nerves to the brain.

Neomycin belongs to the class of antibiotics that works by inhibiting the production of essential proteins necessary for bacteria to grow, multiply and increase in numbers. Thereby, it destroys bacteria.

Use Ear Drops 5 ml as prescribed by your doctor. Ear Drops 5 ml is only for use in ears. You are advised to use Ear Drops 5 ml for as long as your doctor has prescribed it for you based on your medical condition.
