HOW MUCH TO TAKE?

WHAT ARE THE DRUG INTERACTIONS?

This drug should not be taken along with Cyclosporine, as it tends to increase the side effects of Simvastatin-Ezetimibe by seven folds. Simultaneous administration ofWarfarin and Simvastatin-Ezetimibe can increase the risk of bleeding disorders. Don?t take antacid along with this drug as it decreases the absorption of Simvastatin-Ezetimibe. Drugs like Nicotinic acid and Gemfibrozil when taken along with Simvastatin-Ezetimibe may cause liver or muscle injury. The other common drugs that may interact with Simvastatin-Ezetimibe are:

Amiodarone
Antifungal drugs
Colchicine
Boceprevir
Niacin
Fluconazole
Ketoconazole
Ranolazine
Telapvir
Voriconazole
Ciclosporin
Colchicine

Ranolazine etc.

THINGS TO REMEMBER WHILE TAKING THIS DRUG:

Avoid a high fat diet and alcohol while taking this medicine.
Also avoid grapefruit and grapefruit based products while taking Ezetimibe
Try to involve in daily exercise and healthy diet in your daily routine
Keep a complete record of all the medicines you are taking along with this medicine

Alcohol

Pregnancy
