LUBIMOIST contains Sodium hyaluronate which belongs to the group of medicines called ophthalmic lubricants. It is used to treat dry eyes caused by non-pathological conditions such as dust, smoke, dry heat, air conditioning, wind, cold, extended computer screen use or contact lens wear. It can also be used to treat eye dryness, burning, ocular fatigue and ocular damage caused by any underlying eye conditions such as superficial keratitis, Sjogren syndrome or primary dry eye syndrome.
Hyaluronic acid is a polysaccharide naturally present in the extracellular matrix of human connective tissue. It moistens, soothes and lubricates your eye, making it feel more comfortable and less irritated. This medicine is for ophthalmic use only. Avoid contact of this medicine with nose or mouth. Place 2-3 drops of this medicine into the affected eye. Do not touch the tip of the container with your eyes or fingers to avoid the spread of infection.
LUBIMOIST is generally safe and does not cause any side effects. However, in some individuals it may cause mild eye irritation and blurred vision, which is usually temporary and disappears with the course of therapy. If you experience any other eye problems consult your doctor immediately. While using this medicine, do not wear soft contact lenses unless your doctor has advised you otherwise. HOW LUBIMOIST WORKS:
Sodium hyaluronate is a salt form of hyaluronic acid. Hyaluronic acid is a polysaccharide naturally present in the extracellular matrix of human connective tissue. Ophthalmic application of hyaluronic acid binds to fibronectin and accelerates the adhesion and extension of ocular epithelial cells. It effectively moistens your eyes, accelerates wound healing of corneal epithelium and relieves your eyes from dryness, burning sensation and irritation.
DIRECTIONS FOR USE:
Apply this medicine as directed by your physician. It is for ophthalmic use only. Wash your hands. Tilt your head slightly backwards and look upwards. Place the tip of the nozzle on the corner of the affected eye and place 2-3 drops of this medicine into the lower eyelid. Close your eyes for few seconds. Replace the cap tightly after use and wash your hands.
Do not touch the tip of the container with your eyes or fingers to avoid the spread of infection. Your doctor will decide the correct dose for you depending upon your condition. Continue to use this medicine, as long as your doctor tells you to do so, to obtain better results.

Blurred vision:
This is usually temporary and disappears after some time. Try to rest and relax. Get enough sleep. Avoid traveling, driving or operating any tools or machines while you experience visual disturbances. If the symptom still persists, contact your doctor for advice.
