WHAT IS THIORIL 50MG?
THIORIL contains Thioridazine which belongs to a group of medicine called antipsychotics
WHAT THIORIL 50MG IS USED FOR?
THIORIL is used for the management of schizophrenic patients who fail to respond adequately to treatment with other antipsychotic medicines
WARNING AND PRECAUTIONS:
TALK TO DOCTOR
Talk to your doctor, if you:
Are allergic to Thioridazine or any of the other ingredients of this medicine
Are suffering from central nervous system (CNS) depression
Have heart problem
PREGNANCY & BREAST FEEDING
If you are pregnant or breast-feeding, think you may be pregnant or are planning to have a baby, ask your doctor for advice before taking this medicine
CHILDREN & ADOLESCENTS
It will be given based on age, body weight and disease condition of your child
DRIVING & USING MACHINES
Some people have reported feeling dizziness while they are taking THIORIL 50MG medicines. If you feel like this, you should not drive or operate machinery
INTERACTIONS:
Tell your doctor if you are taking any of the following:
Antidepressants (e.g:fluoxetine, paroxetine)
Beta-blockers (e.g:propranolol, pindolol)
DIRECTIONS & FOR USE:
Always take this medicine exactly as your doctor has told you
Swallow the medicine whole with enough water
Do not break, chew or crush the medicine
If you take more THIORIL
If you take too many medicines, tell your doctor or go to nearest hospital immediately
If you forget to take THIORIL
Take one as soon as you remember unless it is nearly time to take the next one
Do not take two medicines to make up for the forgotten one
If you stop taking THIORIL
Do not stop taking this medicine without consulting your doctor
SIDE EFFECTS OF THIORIL 50MG:
Like all medicines, this medicine can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them.
STORAGE:
Keep this medicine out of reach of children
Store at room temperature of 15-25°C
