WHAT IS PERMED?

PERMED contains permethrin

WHAT PERMED IS USED FOR?

PERMED is used,

For the treatment of lice present on the scalp, pubic area and other parts of the skin
To treat a highly contagious infection caused by mites marked by intense itching in the affected area

Pregnancy

Permed Soap is generally considered safe to use during pregnancy. Animal studies have shown low or no adverse effects to the developing baby; however, there are limited human studies.

Breast feeding

Permed Soap is probably safe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent any significant risk to the baby.

Driving

INTERACTIONS:

Talk to doctor if you are taking any other topical medicine for skin condition

DIRECTIONS & FOR USE:

Apply PERMED to the hair or skin, depending on the location of infection
Avoid its contact with eyes. The same treatment can be repeated after seven days if required
It may take some time before the full benefit of this drug takes effect

If you use more PERMED

Applying too much of it may cause skin reactions where it was applied. In certain situation contact your doctor immediately

SERIOUS

Like all medicines, this medicine can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them.

• Itching or rash of the skin and scalp
• Tingling and numbness of skin

UNCOMMON

Like all medicines, this medicine can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them.

• Redness of skin or scalp
• Burning or stinging sensation

RARE

Like all medicines, this medicine can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them.

• Difficulty in breathing

VERY RARE

Like all medicines, this medicine can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them.

• Infected and pus-filled areas on the skin and scalp

STORAGE:

Keep this medicine out of reach of children
Store at room temperature (15-25°C)
Do not use this medicine after the expiry date
