Desowen Lotion
Desowen Lotion contains Desonide which belongs to a group of medicines called Corticosteroids. It is indicated for the relief of the inflammatory and pruritic manifestations of corticosteroid responsive dermatoses for adults and children aged 2 years and older.
This Desowen Lotion works by activating the natural substances in the skin. Topical corticosteroids share anti-inflammatory, antipruritic and vasoconstrictive properties. It acts by the induction of lipocortins which controls the biosynthesis of potent mediators of inflammation like prostaglandins and leukotrienes which inhibit the common precursor of inflammation mediators, arachidonic acid.
