ABOUT THE DRUG:

Coenzyme Q-10 is the main active pharmaceutical ingredient present in Co?Q Forte Capsules. Coenzyme Q-10 (Co Q10) is a substance, which is very similar to a vitamin that the human body can produce naturally. Co Q-10 is used by the cells to generate energy and also functions as a powerful antioxidant. Co Q-10 is synthesized from the amino acid tyrosine, but is also absorbed from a wide variety of foods.

USES OF THE DRUG:

This medicine is used in the treatment of various diseases such as in heart failure, muscular dystrophy, cancer, and periodontal disease. It is also said to have a speedy recovery from exercise by boosting up the energy. Some people take it to help in reducing the effects of certain medicines that can have on the heart, muscles, and other organs.

WORKING OF THE DRUG:

This drug consists of Coenzyme Q-10 (Co Q-10), which is also known as ubiquinone and ubidecarenon. Coenzyme Q-10 is an important vitamin-like substance required for the proper functioning of many organs and chemical reactions in the body. It helps provide energy to cells. Coenzyme Q-10 is also having the antioxidant activity. This medicine works by replacing the deficiency of Coenzyme Q and thus treats various diseases caused due to the lower level of coenzyme Q such as heart diseases, high certain muscle disease.

Are hypersensitive to this active ingredient CoQ Forte caps or any other ingredient of the medicine
Are pregnant or planning to be pregnant in the near future
Are a breastfeeding mother

Have a seizure or any mental disorder
Have a history of long term infection
Have liver disease

HOW MUCH TO TAKE THE DRUG?

The dosage depends upon your age, weight, medical condition and your response to the treatment. Therefore, your doctor will decide the correct dose. Take the dose exactly as prescribed by the doctor. Never take two doses at one time.

HOW TO TAKE THE DRUG?

The drug is usually recommended to be taken with the food or after the meal. The tablet is to be swallowed with a glass of water. Do not break or chew the tablet.

FOR HOW LONG TO TAKE IT?

You should take the dose until you finish the prescription. Do not stop or change the dose even if you feel better. You should complete the prescribed dose.

OVERDOSE:

In case of an overdose, get emergency medical attention or call the Doctor Immediately.

MISS DOSE:

If you miss a dose of Co-Q, then take it as soon as you remember. Never take the missed dose if the next dose time is almost up. Taking multiple doses at almost the same time can lead to excess medication in your body which can be harmful.
