HOW MUCH TO TAKE THE DRUG?
The dosage may depend on a range of factors like age, sex, drug allergies, or seriousness of the condition among several other factors. The usual dose is one 200/600 mg capsule once in a day, although the dose strength will depend upon the condition of the patient.
HOW TO TAKE THE DRUG?
Take Tenofovir Disproxil Fumarat, Emtrictabine and Efavirenz HIV medication (Viraday) strictly according to your doctor?s direction or according to the instructions on the medication label. FOR HOW LONG TO TAKE?
This drug controls the multiplication of HIV but does not cure the problem. Take the drugs as long as your doctor recommends you to take it. If you have Hepatitis B, you may develop liver symptoms even after stopping Tenofovir Disproxil Fumarat, Emtrictabine and Efavirenz. These symptoms may be seen for months after stopping. Swelling of the face, lips, tongue or throat

Pain in the abdomen (stomach), caused by inflammation of the pancreas
Forgetfulness, confusion, fitting (seizures), incoherent speech, tremor (shaking)
Yellow skin or eyes, itching, or pain in the abdomen (stomach) caused by inflammation of the liver
Damage to kidney tubules Psychiatric side effects in addition to those listed above include delusions (false beliefs), neurosis. Some patients have committed suicide
Breakdown of muscle, muscle pain or weakness
Anaemia (low red blood cell count)
A feeling of spinning or tilting (vertigo), whistling, ringing or other persistent noise in the ears
Blurred vision

Flushing, dry mouth
Increased appetite

RARE

Liver failure, in some cases leading to death or liver transplant
Inflammation of the kidney, passing a lot of urine and feeling thirsty
Back pain caused by kidney problems, including kidney failure. Your doctor may do blood tests to see if your kidneys are working properly
Softening of the bones (with bone pain and sometimes resulting in fractures) which may occur due to damage to the kidney tubule cells
Fatty liver
Itchy rash to the skin caused by a reaction to sunlight
COMMON DRUG INTERACTIONS:
You must not take Tenofovir Disproxil Fumarat, Emtrictabine and Efavirenz with other cisapride, pimozide, midazolam, triazolam, ergot medicines like dihydroergotamine, egonovine, ergotamine, or methyergonovine. These drugs can interact with Tenofovir Disproxil Fumarat, Emtrictabine and Efavirenz causing dangerous side effects.
THINGS TO REMEMBER:
You must use a proper barrier contraceptive method while taking Viraday and for at least 12 weeks following the end of you treatment
