nyna
NYNA contains Norethisterone which belongs to a group of medicines called Progestogens which are similar to the natural female hormone progesterone.
It is used to treat or manage heavy, painful, irregular periods, premenstrual tension (PMT), endometriosis.
Endometriosis is a condition (where tissue from your womb is found outside your womb) and breast cancer. It is also prescribed to delay next period.
Norethisterone is a synthetic progestin used to treat hormone related conditions such as menopausal symptoms and endometriosis.
It works similar to natural progesterone with much higher potency. It alters the cervical and endometrial function at the pelvic level and inhibits the pituitary hormones that plays a role in follicular maturation and ovulation.
Thus, by mimicking the effects of natural progesterone NYNA helps in treating menstrual irregularities by regulating the growth and shedding of the womb lining.
Always take this NYNA exactly as directed by your doctor.
Before taking this medicine, tell your doctor if you have liver, kidney or heart problems and if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Do not take if you are allergic (hypersensitive) to Norethisterone.
It is not indicated for children. The common side effects are headache, dizziness, nausea and vomiting.

USES OF NYNA TABLET
- Treatment of Heavy menstrual bleeding
- Treatment of Pain during menstruation
- Treatment of Endometriosis
- Treatment of Premenstrual syndrome (PMS)
BENEFITS OF NYNA TABLET
In Treatment of Heavy menstrual bleeding
Progesterone slows the growth of the lining of the womb before menstruation, which reduces the bleeding during menstruation.
If heavy periods become such a problem that they interfere with your everyday life, then try taking things a little easier on those days.
In Treatment of Pain during menstruation
It counters the effects of another hormone called estrogen and reduces pain (cramps) during periods. Painful periods have a big impact on the everyday life of a woman and there is not always an obvious cause.
This medicine is normally used during a particular part of the menstrual cycle. You may have to use painkillers (NSAIDs) as well for rapid pain relief. Ask your doctor about which are most suitable.
In Treatment of Endometriosis
It can also make it difficult to get pregnant. Nyna 5mg Tablet is a synthetic hormone that behaves like the natural hormone progesterone.
It works by preventing the lining of your womb and any endometriosis tissue from growing too quickly.
This will help relieve the symptoms you may have.
This medicine needs to be taken regularly to be effective and you may need other medicines or procedures to help control endometriosis.
In Treatment of Premenstrual syndrome (PMS)
