LARENTINE 5MG contain memantine which belongs to a group of medicine called NMDA receptor antagonists. It is used for the treatment of patients with moderate to severe Alzheimer’s disease. Alzheimer’s disease is a progressive disease that destroy memory and mental functions.

Memory loss in Alzheimer’s disease is due to disturbance of message signals in the brain. The brain contains N-methyl-D-aspartate (NMDA)-receptor that are involved in transmitting nerve signals important in learning and memory. DIRECTIONS FOR USE

Always take LARENTINE 5MG exactly as your doctor has told you. This medicine must be taken with or without food. Try to take at the same time each day. It should be swallowed whole with water. Do not crush or chew the medicine. The recommended dose is one tablet once a day.

Headache:

Apply hot or cold-water bag on your head. Take rest in a quiet and dark room. Drink tea or coffee.

Constipation: 

Take fibre rich foods such as fresh fruit, vegetables and cereals, and drink plenty of water. Exercise more regularly.

Dizziness:
