HOW IT WORKS?

The drug works by acting on the receptors in the lungs called 1-2 receptors. Salbutamol acts on the receptors and stimulates them, as a result of which the muscles of the air passage relax. This leads to easy passage of air and opens the airway.

WHEN SHOULD YOU AVOID THE DRUG?

You should not take this medicine if you:

Are allergic to this active ingredient Salbutamol or any other ingredient of the drug.
Are below 4 years of age, consult your doctor for the safety and efficacy.
Are pregnant or planning to be pregnant
Are breast feeding as the drug may pass into the breast milk
Have high blood pressure
Have a history of epilepsy
Have a diabetes history
Have heart rhythm problems (arrhythmia)

If it’s less than one hour of the dose time missed then go and take the drug but if it’s more than 6 hours of the missed dose then leave the dose and take the next dose at the correct time period. Don’t double up the dose in order to catch up the missed one.
