SORAFENAT 200MG contains Sorafenib which belongs to the group of medicines called antineoplastic agents. It is used to treat liver and thyroid cancer. It can also be used to treat advanced cancer of kidney, when standard therapy cannot cure the disease. Sorafenib works by slowing down the rate of growth of tumor cells and arrests blood supply to them.
This medicine can be taken either without food or with a low-to-moderate fat meal. Do not take this medicine with high fat meals, because this may make SORAFENAT 200MG less effective. It is important to take this medicine at same time each day, so that there is a steady concentration in your bloodstream. During the treatment, your doctor would monitor your blood pressure and blood sugar levels regularly to avoid any unwanted side effects.

HOW SORAFENAT 200MG WORKS:
Sorafenib is a tyrosine kinase inhibitor that acts by decreasing the proliferation of tumor cells. It inhibits various intracellular and cell surface kinases, that are responsible for tumor growth, tumor cell signaling, angiogenesis and arrests blood supply to the cancer cells which results in apoptosis (death of cells).
DIRECTIONS FOR USE:

Diarrhea:
