WHAT IS BENADRYL DR?
BENADRYL DR contains Dextromethorphan which belongs to a group of medications called antitussives
WHAT BENADRYL DR IS USED FOR?
It is used to help relieve dry, irritating cough
WARNING & PRECAUTION:

Talk to your Doctor, if you:
Are allergic to any of the other ingredients of this medicine
Suffer from severe lung disease
Have taken in the last two weeks, medicines for depression
Suffer from liver or kidney problems
Have a chronic or persistent cough such as the one occurring with asthma or a cough producing a lot of mucus (phlegm)
Have alcohol dependence
Have an intolerance to some sugars
Have a history of drug abuse
PREGNANCY & BREAST FEEDING
If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, think you may be pregnant or are planning to have a baby, ask your doctor for advice before taking this medicine
CHILDREN & ADOLESCENTS
This medicine is not recommended to children under 12 years of age
DRIVING & USING MACHINES
This medicine may affect your ability to drive or operate any machines
INTERACTIONS:
Tell your doctor if you are taking,
Bupropion (drugs used for depression)
Haloperidol, thioridazine, perphenazine (used to treat mood disorders)
Amiodarone, propafenone, quinidine and flecainide (used to treat irregular heartbeats)
Cinacalcet (used to treat secondary hyperparathyroidism, elevated parathyroid hormone levels)
Terbinafine (used to treat fungal infections)
Methadone
Antihistamines (used to treat the symptoms of allergic reactions)
DIRECTIONS & FOR USE:
Always take this medicine exactly as your doctor has told you
For oral use only
If you take more BENADRYL DR
If you take too much of this medicine, contact your doctor or go to the nearest hospital
If you forget to take BENADRYL DR
If you forget to take a dose, take the next dose when needed
Do not take a double dose to make up for a forgotten dose
If you stop taking BENADRYL DR
Do not stop taking this medicine unless your doctor tells you to do so
SIDE EFFECTS OF BENADRYL DR 100ML:
SERIOUS
Swelling of the face, lips, mouth, tongue or throat which may cause difficulty in swallowing or breathing
Fits
Itching, rash, hives
UNCOMMON
Dizziness, drowsiness.
Nausea, vomiting, diarrhea
Upset stomach or stomach pain
Difficulty sleeping or feeling restless or confused
Shallow breathing
STORAGE:
Keep this medicine out of reach of children
Store at a room temperature of 15-25?C
