Zen PD Forte Capsule contains Pantoprazole 40mg and Domperidone 30mg. Pantoprazole is a proton pump inhibitor (PPI), an anti-ulcer agent used to relieve acid-related indigestion and heartburn in the stomach. Domperidone is a Dopamine-2 receptor antagonist that acts as a prokinetic that works on the upper digestive tract allow food easily through the stomach.

This capsule is contraindicated to allergic symptoms such as skin rashes, itching, swelling, breathing difficulties, etc, liver dysfunction, vitamin, and mineral deficiency, heart diseases, and pituitary gland tumour (prolactin imbalance).


Used in the treatment of the following conditions as Peptic ulcer and Gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD).


Gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD)

GERD occurs due to stomach acid frequently flows backwards direction from the stomach to the oesophagus, which leads to developing heartburn, and acid indigestion. Primarily it can manage lifestyle changes, and using OTC (Over the counter) medicines. Also, sometimes need surgery. This medicine is used to treat this backflow acid secretion in the stomach.

Peptic ulcer : 

It is also called a stomach ulcer which usually develops inside the linning of your stomach and upper part of the small intestine. It is caused by bacteria called Helicobacter Pylori, and by regular use of analgesic, and other drugs like Non-steroidal anti-inflammatory. Symptoms include weight loss, loss of appetite, heartburn, Nausea and vomiting, bloating, dark stool, and abdominal pain


Zen PD Forte Capsule is used in the treatment of the following conditions such as Peptic ulcer and Gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD).

Pantoprazole is used to relieve acid-related indigestion and heartburn in the stomach. Domperidone acts as a prokinetic that works on the upper digestive tract allow food easily through the stomach. Swallow the whole capsule at once. Don’t break, chewed, or crushed the capsule.


This combination shows an effect on the dopaminergic receptors without causing any release of the chemical dopamine. Domperidone decreases bowel movement facilitates gastric emptying. Pantoprazole blocks the acid releasing gastric parietal cell of the stomach. Parietal cell of the stomach contains H+/K+ ATP Pumps, which helps in acid secretion. Pantoprazole inhibits acid production by blocking these H+K+ ATP pumps, which results in the blocking of acid secretion.

Yes, the use of Zen Forte 30mg/40mg Capsule can cause dry mouth. Dryness of mouth occurs due to Domperidone. If you experience dry mouth, drink plenty of water. Take regular sips of water during the day and keep some water on your bedside at night. Cut down the intake of alcohol and avoid smoking. If you have a dry mouth, try to use alcohol-free mouthwash as its use can increase the risk of tooth decay.

Yes, the use of Zen Forte 30mg/40mg Capsule can cause diarrhea.
In case, you experience diarrhea, drink plenty of water or other fluids by taking small frequent sips.
Avoid taking fatty or fried foods along with this medication.

Talk to your doctor if diarrhea persists and you notice signs of dehydration, like less urination with dark colored and strong-smelling urine.

If you experience excessive tiredness, puffy eyes and difficulty in urination while taking this medicine, inform your doctor and stop the therapy.
