Farobact 200 mg tablet is an antibiotic containing faropenem as an active ingredient. It is used to treat various bacterial infections such as infection of the respiratory tract, urinary tract and skin infections. Farobact 200 mg tablet works by inhibiting the cell wall synthesis of bacteria, which is an outer layer protecting bacteria. The absence of a cell wall will result in the death of the bacterial cells. Take this medicine as prescribed by your doctor and complete the given course, as stopping the treatment in between will result in treatment failure and recurrence of infection. Inform your doctor if you are pregnant, planning a pregnancy or are breastfeeding and about all the medicines and supplements you take and all the conditions or diseases you suffer from, before starting the Farobact 200 mg tablet.
