WHAT MICROBENZ IS USED FOR?
microbenz gel is used to treat Acne which often refer to as pimples or spots
WARNINGS AND PRECAUTIONS:

Talk to your doctor before taking MICROBENZ, If you
Are allergic to benzoyl peroxide or any of the other ingredients of this medicine
PREGNANCY AND BREAST-FEEDING
If you are pregnant or breast-feeding, think you may be pregnant or planning to have baby, ask your doctor for advice before taking this medicine
INTERACTIONS:
Tell your doctor, if you are using,
Other acne medicines containing tretinoin, isotretinoin or tazarotene
Sulphonamide-containing products such as dapsone and sulfacetamide
DIRECTIONS FOR USE:
Always use this medicine exactly as your doctor has told you
Wash the affected area with a mild skin cleanser and water, and gently pat your skin dry
Apply the medicine in a thin layer once or twice a day to all the affected areas
If you have sensitive skin apply the medicine once daily before going to bed
You should try to avoid exposure to strong sunlight while using MICROBENZ
If exposure is unavoidable, use a suitable sunscreen lotion and apply microbenz gel in the evening
Remember to wash the affected area before use
If you use more MICROBENZ
If you have taken more microbenz gel than you should, talk to your doctor immediately
If you forget to use MICROBENZ
If you forget to use your medicine at the right time
When you remember, start using the product again, in the same way as before
If you stop taking MICROBENZ
Do not stop taking the microbenz gel until the doctor has told you to do so
SIDE EFFECTS OF MICROBENZ:
Like all medicines, this medicine can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them
SIDE EFFECTS OF MICROBENZ:
SERIOUS
Raised and itchy rash (hives)
Swelling of the face, eyes, lips, tongue or mouth (angioedema), having difficulty in breathing
Fainting
Severe redness, itching or peeling of the skin occurs, or you experience face swelling
COMMON
Itching of the skin (pruritus)
Pain of the skin (pain, stinging)
Skin irritation (irritant contact dermatitis)
UNCOMMON
Dry skin
Skin redness
Peeling of the skin
Burning sensation of the skin
Allergic contact dermatitis
STORAGE:
Keep out of reach of children
Store at room temperature (15-25°C)
Do not use this medicine after the expiry date
Information about Microbenz Gel
Directions of use:
1) Wash the affected area with a mild skin cleanser and water and pat skin dry.
2) Apply a thin film of microbenz gel to the affected areas once daily, leaving on the skin for 2 hours then washing it off with water then pat skin dry.
3) Apply a light microbenz gel which won’t clog pores.
Note: You can also apply microbenz gel in the evening and leave it on all night.
Use under medical supervision.
Additional Information
microbenz gel should be used in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Take it with food, preferably at the same time each day to avoid a missed dose.

Most common side effects
The most common side effects include dry skin, rash, and increased liver enzymes. They are not usually serious and often disappear after getting used to the medicine but if they bother you or do not go away, tell your doctor.
microbenz gel may make you more sensitive to sunlight so you should limit your exposure to the sun. It may also make your skin more fragile.
Avoid any waxing (hair removal), or laser treatments during treatment.
