PRACTIN contains Cyproheptadine which belongs to antiserotonergic agent
WHAT PRACTIN IS USED FOR?
It is used to treat:
Perennial and seasonal allergic rhinitis

If you are pregnant or breast-feeding, think you may be pregnant or are planning to have a baby, ask your doctor for advice before taking this medicine
CHILDREN & ADOLESCENTS
PRACTIN is recommended in children. Consult your doctor before giving this medicine to your child
INTERACTIONS:

MAO inhibitors
Hypnotics, sedatives, tranquilizers, antianxiety agents

Always take this medicine exactly as your doctor has told you
Shake well before use
If you take more PRACTIN
If you take more of this medicine, tell your doctor or go to nearest hospital
If you forget to take PRACTIN
If you forget to take a dose, take it after food as soon as you remember, but if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and continue as usual
Do not use a double dose to make up for a missed dose
If you stop taking PRACTIN
Do not stop taking this medicine unless your doctor tells you to do so

PRODUCT INTRODUCTION
Practin Syrup belongs to a group of medicines called antihistamines. It is used in the treatment of various allergic conditions. It relieves symptoms of inflammation as well as itching, swelling and rashes. It is also used to treat loss of appetite (need for food). It is an effective hunger stimulant.
Practin Syrup can be taken with or without food and it is better to take it in a dose and duration as advised by the doctor.
You may need this medicine only on days you have symptoms, or you may need to take it every day to prevent symptoms from happening. If you stop taking it earlier than advised, your symptoms may come back. This medicine is generally very safe.
