HOW MUCH TO TAKE THE DRUG?

SIDE EFFECTS OF HEPCINAT 400MG:

Check with your health care specialist if any of the following develop while using Sofosbuvir:

• Signs of infection such as chills, shortness of breath, fever, prolonged dizziness, headache, weight loss, stiff neck
• Signs of depression, including changes in sleep, thoughts of suicide, poor concentration, weight changes, decreased interest in activities
• Signs of anemia, such as pale skin, shortness of breath, low red blood cells, dizziness, weakness, or tiredness
• You must discontinue using the drug in case any of the following occur:
• Bloody, black, or tarry stools, vomiting blood, spitting up of blood that looks like coffee grounds.

COMMON DRUG INTERACTIONS:

Amiodarone may interact with Sofosbuvir. Other medications may also affect how hepcinat works. Such medications include rifampin, rifabutin, tipranavir, St. John?s wort, ritonavir, medications used for treating seizures such as phenytoin, carbamazepine. Avoid taking these medications along with Sofosbuvir.

Hepcinat 400 Tablet should be used with caution in patients with severe kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Hepcinat 400 Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
Limited information is available on use of Hepcinat 400 Tablet in these patients. No dose adjustment is recommended in patients with mild to moderate kidney disease.

Liver

Hepcinat 400 Tablet is safe to use in patients with liver disease. No dose adjustment of Hepcinat Tablet is recommended.

WHAT IF YOU FORGET TO TAKE HEPCINAT TABLET?

If you miss a dose of Hepcinat 400 Tablet, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
