DIRECTIONS & FOR USE:

Always take this medicine exactly as your doctor has told you

If you take more SEVISTA 30MG

If you take more than the prescribed dose, tell your doctor or go to nearest hospital immediately

If you forget to take SEVISTA 30MG

Take your medicine as soon as you remember. If it is almost time for your next dose, wait until that is due and then continue as normal
Do not take a double dose to make up for a forgotten dose

If you stop taking SEVISTA 30MG

Do not stop taking this medicine unless your doctor tells you to do so

PRODUCT INTRODUCTION

Sevista 30 Tablet is a medicine used as an oral contraceptive pill. It helps to prevent pregnancy as it does not allow implantation of the fertilized ovum to the womb (uterus).

In higher doses, Sevista 30 Tablet is also used to control abnormal vaginal bleeding in women who have not attained menopause (end of the monthly menstrual period). This medicine is only taken once a week, either with or without food.

The dose and how often you take it depends on what you are taking it for. Your doctor is the right person to decide the exact dose, hence follow your doctor’s advice.

It is a non-hormonal medicine with very minimal side effects but in some cases, it may cause irregularity in your menstrual cycle.

Q. How and in what dose should I take Sevista Tablet?

You should take Sevista Tablet, as advised by your doctor. However, for contraception, you are required to take two tablets a week for the first 12 weeks ( for e.g. on Sunday and Wednesday), and then one tablet a week. It is also advisable to use condom, in addition to taking Sevista Tablet, for the period of the first 8 weeks of use.
