Newbona Plus Capsule belongs to the group of medicines called nutritional supplements used to treat and prevent nutritional deficiencies. A nutritional deficiency occurs when the body does not absorb or get enough nutrients from food. Vitamins and minerals are necessary for body development and prevention of diseases.
Newbona Plus Capsule is a combination of five supplements, namely: Calcium, Calcitriol, Methylcobalamin, Pyridoxine and Folic acid. Calcium makes the bones stronger by increasing their density. It helps in treating and preventing low calcium levels. Calcitriol is a form of vitamin D which helps in the absorption of calcium from the stomach. Methylcobalamin helps in the proper functioning of the brain, nerves and production of red blood cells. Pyridoxine helps in regulating essential metabolic functions. Folic acid helps in producing and maintaining new blood cells. Together, Newbona Plus Capsule helps in treating nutritional deficiencies.
Take Newbona Plus Capsule with or without food. Swallow Capsule as a whole with a glass of water, do not chew or break the tablet. You are advised to take Capsule for as long as your doctor has prescribed it for you depending on your medical condition. In some cases, you may experience certain common side-effects such as stomach pain, constipation, loss of appetite, nausea and vomiting. Most of these side-effects do not require medical attention and will resolve gradually over time. However, you are advised to talk to your doctor if you experience these side-effects persistently.
Inform your doctor if you are taking prescription, non-prescription drugs and herbal products before starting Capsule. If you are known to be allergic to Newbona Plus Capsule or its inactive components, please talk to your doctor. Consult your doctor before taking Capsule if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
