AZIDERM contains azelaic acid which belongs to a class of medication known as dicarboxylic acids

INTERACTIONS:

Tell your doctor if you are taking any other skin preparation or especially if you are using

Benzoic acid or Propylene glycol

DIRECTIONS & FOR USE:

Always apply AZIDERM cream exactly as your doctor has told you
For Adults and Adolescents (12 ? 18 years of age)

First thoroughly wash with plain water the whole area to be treated and dry it with some cotton cloth
Start treatment with AZIDERM twice a day
If your skin is very sensitive use AZIDERM once a day, in the evening during
the first week of treatment. Then change to twice a day

If you have acne on your chest and back, as well as your face, adjust the amount of cream and use it accordingly
Wash your hands thoroughly after using AZIDERM

If you use more AZIDERM

If you use too much of AZIDERM cream or if someone else has applied your medicine, talk to your doctor immediately and you may need Medical attention

If you forget to use AZIDERM

If you have forgotten to use your AZIDERM cream take them as soon as possible on the same day. Do not take a double dose

If you stop using AZIDERM

Do not stop using AZIDERM cream without talking to your doctor first

Allergic reaction (e.g. rash)
Irritations (for example burning and itching pruritis)
Pain at the application site

Feeling of tingling or numbness (paranesthesia)

Swelling (oedema), scaling, pain

Greasy skin, acne or loss of skin colour, tingling, dermatitis, nettle rash (urticaria)
