WHAT CLIGEL GEL IS USED FOR?

It is used to treat mild to moderate acne(spots)
CLIGEL GEL may also help to reduce the redness of the spots on the skin

Talk to your doctor before using this medicine, if you:

Are allergic (hypersensitive) to the active substance CLIGEL GEL or any of the other ingredients

INTERACTIONS:

Tell your healthcare provider if you are using any other topical preparations such as cream, ointment, gel

DIRECTIONS FOR USE:

Always apply this gel exactly as your doctor has told you
It is intended for use on the skin
You should use CLIGEL GEL once a day. Wash as normal, rinse well and pat your skin dry
Apply a small amount of gel in a thin layer to the whole of the area where you usually get the spots
It is important to replace the cap after you have used this medicine

If you use more CLIGEL GEL

If you use too much CLIGEL GEL at one time, just wash your treated skin with plenty of water. Contact your doctor or your local hospital

If you forget to use CLIGEL GEL

Use it as soon as you remember and then continue to use as your doctor has told you. Do not apply a double dose to make up for a forgotten application

If you stop using CLIGEL GEL

If you stop applying too soon your infection may come back again or get worse
Do not stop using this medicine unless your doctor tells you to

Like all medicines, the medicine can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them.

COMMON

• Dry skin
• Redness of the skin
• Skin burning
• Irritation around eyes
• Worsening of acne
• Itchy skin

UNCOMMON

• Painful skin
• Scaly rash

Cligel Gel is a combination medicine that helps treat acne (commonly called pimples) by reducing the production of excessive oil in the skin that causes acne.

HOW TO USE CLIGEL GEL

HOW CLIGEL GEL WORKS

Cligel  Gel is a combination of two medicines: Clindamycin and Tretinoin, which treats pimples (acne). Clindamycin is an antibiotic which works by penetrating into the skin and killing acne-causing bacteria. Tretinoin is a form of vitamin A which reduces oil production in the skin, replenishes the skin and helps keep your pores open.

WHAT IF YOU FORGET TO TAKE CLIGEL GEL?

If you miss a dose of Cligel T Gel, apply it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
