Are hypersensitive (allergic) to clindamycin, lincomycin or to any of the other ingredients of this medicine
PREGNANCY & BREAST FEEDING
If you are pregnant or breast-feeding, think you may be pregnant or planning to have baby, ask your doctor for advice before taking this medicine
DRIVING & USING MACHINES
No effects on the ability to drive or use machines have been seen with CLINDAC A
INTERACTIONS:
Tell your healthcare provider about all the medicines you take, including:
Any other skin products that contain benzoyl peroxide
DIRECTIONS & FOR USE:
CLINDAC A should be applied twice a day
Shake the bottle well before use
Wash and apply thin film on the affected area
The CLINDAC A bottle has an automatic pad dispenser. Gently apply a thin film onto your skin using the pad on the applicator
The CLINDAC A bottle has a dispensing cap
Wash your hands before and after use and dry them, apply a thin film of the medicine by gently rubbing it into your skin, you may use a cotton pad for this or you can use your fingers
Always replace the cap after use
If you take more CLINDAC A
If you take too much CLINDAC A at one time, just wash your treated skin with plenty of water and contact your doctor
If you forget to take CLINDAC A
Use it as soon as you remember and then continue to use as your doctor has told you. Do not apply a double dose to make up for a forgotten application
If you stop taking CLINDAC A
If you stop applying too soon your infection may come back again or get worse
Do not stop taking CLINDAC A unless your doctor tells you to
SIDE EFFECTS OF CLINDAC A:
SERIOUS
Like all medicines, the medicine can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them.
• Burning sensation
• Irritation
COMMON

• Oily skin
RARE

• Severe acne or inflammation of the skin caused by contact with irritants or allergens
VERY RARE

• Skin irritation (may cause symptoms such as burning, itching, peeling), hives, dryness of skin
STORAGE:
Protect from excess heat and light
Keep out of reach of children
Store at room temperature (15-25°C)
Do not use this medicine after the expiry date
Additional information

Clindac A 1 Solution is only meant for external use and should be used as advised by your doctor. You should normally wash and dry the affected area before applying a thin layer of the medicine.
It should not be applied to broken or damaged skin.
It may take several weeks for your symptoms to improve, but you should keep using this medicine regularly.

Common side effects
It is a safe medicine, but you should inform your doctor if you have any problems with your bowels (intestines). Also, inform the doctor if you have ever had bloody diarrhea caused by taking antibiotics or if you are using any other medicines to treat skin conditions. Consult your doctor about using this medicine if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
