POMALID 1MG contains pomalidomide which is an immunomodulatory drug
WHAT POMALID 1MG IS USED FOR?
It is used to treat adults with a type of cancer called multiple myeloma
INTERACTIONS:
Tell your doctor if you are taking,
Ketoconazole (used to treat fungal infection)
Ciprofloxacin, enoxacin (used to treat infection)
Fluvoxamine (used to treat depression)
DIRECTIONS & FOR USE:
Always take this medicine exactly as your doctor has told you
Do not break, open or chew this medicine
Swallow the medicine whole, preferably with water
If you take more POMALID 1MG
If you take more POMALID 1MG than you should, talk to a doctor or go to nearest hospital immediately
If you forget to take POMALID 1MG
If you forget to take POMALID 1MG on a day when you should, take your next medicine as normal the next day. Do not increase the number of medicine you take to make up for not taking POMALID 1MG the previous day
If you stop taking POMALID 1MG
Do not stop taking this medicine unless your doctor tells you to do so
STORAGE:
Keep this medicine out of reach of children
Store at a room temperature of 15-25°C
PRODUCT INTRODUCTION
It works by helping the bone marrow to produce normal blood cells and by killing abnormal cells.
it can be taken with or without food, but better to take it at the same time every day. Your doctor will decide what dose is necessary and how often you need to take it.
This will depend on what you are being treated for and may change from time to time. You should take it exactly as your doctor has advised.
