Seborrheic dermatitis is a type of dandruff that causes an itchy rash with dry, flaky scales on the skin that contains oil glands such as the scalp, face, back and upper chest.
The fungal cell membranes are essential for their survival as they prevent the entry of unwanted substances into the cells and stops the leakage of cell contents.
Kevon Zip Lotion 75 ml works by causing holes in the fungal cell membranes and kills fungi, thereby slowing the growth of dandruff on the scalp.
Lotion 75 ml is available as lotion and shampoo. Lotion 75 ml is for use on skin and scalp only. Kevon Zip Lotion 75 ml in shampoo form is used as prescribed by a doctor.
If Kevon Zip Lotion 75 ml is prescribed in lotion form, apply Lotion 75 ml evenly on the clean and dry affected area.

Kevon Zip Lotion 75 ml is a combination of two antifungal drugs namely Ketoconazole and Pyrithione zinc that is primarily used to treat fungal infections of the skin such as seborrheic dermatitis (dry, flaky skin on face, scalp, chest, upper back or ears).
The fungal cell membranes are essential for their survival as they prevent the entry of unwanted substances into the cells and stops the leakage of cell contents.
Lotion 75 ml causes holes in the fungal cell membranes and kills fungi. Thereby, clears fungal infection and provides relief from cracking, burning, scaling and itching of the skin caused due to infections.
Directions for Use
Lotion: Wash and dry the affected area of the skin. Shake the bottle well before use. Apply the prescribed amount of Kevon Zip Lotion 75 ml evenly on the clean and dry affected area and a small amount of surrounding skin. Lotion 75 ml is for use on skin and scalp only.
Avoid contact of Kevon Zip Lotion 75 ml with nose, mouth or eyes. In case Lotion 75 ml comes in contact with these areas accidentally, rinse with water thoroughly. Wash your hands before and after using Kevon Zip Lotion 75 ml if hands are not the affected area to prevent the spread of infection.
Shampoo: Shake the bottle well before use. Kevon Zip Lotion 75 ml is for use on scalp and hair only. Wet scalp and hair. Wash your hair and scalp with Lotion 75 ml to make enough lather and leave it on for 3 to 5 minutes.
Then, thoroughly rinse with water. Avoid contact of Lotion 75 ml with eyes. In case Kevon Zip Lotion 75 ml comes in contact with eyes accidentally, rinse with water thoroughly.
Kevon Zip Hair Conditioner is a combination of two antifungal medicines that effectively treats dandruff. It kills the fungi that cause the infection and relieves itching and irritation.
Kevon Zip Hair Conditioner is only meant for external use and should be used as advised by your doctor. This medicine should be used regularly to get the most benefit from it.
Do not use more than you need it will not clear your condition faster and may only increase the side effects. Make sure not to leave it on the scalp for more than 5 minutes. If it gets into your eyes, nose, or mouth rinse with water.
This medicine is usually safe, however, it may cause burning, irritation, itching, and redness at the application site. These side effects are usually mild and self-limiting. Serious side effects are rare.
