What NAYZIT is used for?
It is used to treat acne vulgaris in people 12 years of age and older. Acne vulgaris is a condition in which the skin has blackheads, white heads and pimples
It is used to treat mild to moderate acne(spots)

Talk to your doctor before applying NAYZIT, if you:
Are allergic to NAYZIT or any of the ingredients of this medicine
Have other skin problems, including cuts or sunburn
Have any other skin conditions
PREGNANCY AND BREAST-FEEDING
If you are pregnant or breast-feeding, think you may be pregnant or planning to have baby, ask your doctor for advice before taking this medicine
CHILDREN AND ADOLESCENTS
NAYZIT should not be used by children under the age of 12 years
DRIVING AND USING MACHINES
NAYZIT doesn?t have any effect while driving or using machines
INTERACTIONS
Tell your healthcare provider about all the medicines you take, including prescription and over-the-counter medicines, vitamins, and herbal supplements especially if you are using:
Topical medicines that contain sulfur, resorcinol or salicylic acid, alpha hydroxy or glycolic acid
Using or any other topical preparation such as erythromycin metronidazole or aminoglycosides
DIRECTIONS FOR USE:
- Always apply this gel exactly as your doctor has told you
- You should use NAYZIT once a day. Wash as normal, rinse well and pat your skin dry
- Apply a small amount of gel in a thin layer to the whole of the area where you usually get the spots
It should be used for a maximum of 12 weeks - You may need to use more than one tube of NAYZIT during each course of treatment
- Try not to pick or squeeze spots as this can make your acne worse and even lead to scarring
- Do not use NAYZIT in or on your mouth, eyes or vagina
- It can make your skin sensitive to sun and the light from tanning beds and sunlamps
If you use more NAYZIT
If you apply too much NAYZIT just wash your treated skin with plenty of water. There may be a chance of increase in skin irritation, contact your doctor or your local hospital
If you forget to use NAYZIT
Use it as soon as you remember and then continue to use as your doctor has told you. Do not apply a double dose to make up for a forgotten application
If you stop using NAYZIT
If you stop applying too soon your infection may come back again or get worse
Do not stop taking NAYZIT unless your doctor tells you to do so
SIDE EFFECTS OF NAYZIT:
Like all medicines, the medicine can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them.

Redness or dryness of the skin
Stinging or burning sensation in the skin
COMMON
Adapalene:
Skin peeling
Sunburn
Clindamycin:
Dry skin
Redness of the skin
Skin burning
Irritation around eyes
Worsening of acne
Itchy skin
UNCOMMON
Clindamycin:
Painful skin
Scaly rash
Inflammation of the bowel
Diarrhea with blood and mucus
STORAGE:
Protect from excess heat and light
Keep out of reach of children
Store at room temperature (15-25°C)
Do not use this medicine after the expiry date

However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule.Do not double the dose.
