WHAT IS NILAC A GEL?
NILAC A GEL contains an active ingredient called Adapalene and Clindamycin
It is used for skin purpose only
WHAT NILAC A GEL IS USED FOR?
It is used to treat acne vulgaris in people 12 years of age and older. Acne vulgaris is a condition in which the skin has blackheads, white heads and pimples
It is used to treat mild to moderate acne(spots)
INTERACTIONS :
Tell your healthcare provider about all the medicines you take, including prescription and over-the-counter medicines, vitamins, and herbal supplements especially if you are using:
Topical medicines that contain sulfur, resorcinol or salicylic acid, alpha hydroxy or glycolic acid
Using or any other topical preparation such as erythromycin metronidazole or aminoglycosides
DIRECTIONS & FOR USE:
Always apply this gel exactly as your doctor has told you
You should use NILAC A GEL once a day. Wash as normal, rinse well and pat your skin dry
Apply a small amount of gel in a thin layer to the whole of the area where you usually get the spots
It should be used for a maximum of 12 weeks
You may need to use more than one tube of NILAC A GEL during each course of treatment
Try not to pick or squeeze spots as this can make your acne worse and even lead to scarring
Do not use NILAC A GEL in or on your mouth, eyes or vagina
If you use more NILAC A GEL
If you apply too much NILAC A GEL just wash your treated skin with plenty of water. There may be a chance of increase in skin irritation, contact your doctor or your local hospital
If you forget to use NILAC GEL
Use it as soon as you remember and then continue to use as your doctor has told you. Do not apply a double dose to make up for a forgotten application
If you stop using NILAC GEL
If you stop applying too soon your infection may come back again or get worse
Do not stop taking NILAC A GEL unless your doctor tells you to do so
STORAGE:
Protect from excess heat and light
Keep out of reach of children
Store at room temperature (15-25°C)
Do not use this medicine after the expiry date
INTRODUCTION
Nilac Gel is only meant for external use and should be used as advised by your doctor. You should normally wash and dry the affected area before applying a thin layer of the medicine. It should not be applied to broken or damaged skin.
Avoid
It may take several weeks for your symptoms to improve, but you should keep using this medicine regularly.
Do not stop using it as soon as your acne starts to get better. Ask your doctor when you should stop treatment.
Side effects
Consult your doctor if they bother you or do not go away.
Inform your doctor if you have any problems with your bowels (intestines), or if you are using any other medicines to treat skin conditions.
Consult your doctor about using this medicine if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
