Betnovate cream are used to treat a variety of inflammatory, allergic or itchy skin disorders such as Eczema of various types, skin inflammation or irritation, psoriasis, skin rash, itching, swelling, redness , thickened skin rash caused by excessive scratching to relieve itching , an eruption of hard nodules in the skin accompanied by intense itching, skin disorder causing a flat, itchy, violet rash, usually on the wrists, shins, lower back and genitals (lichen planus), inflammatory skin disease known as discoid lupus erythematosus, intense and widespread reddening of the skin, Reactions to insect bites and stings, or other discomfort caused by skin conditions.

HOW TO TAKE THE DRUG?
Apply a small amount of this medicine to the affected area. Gently rub the medicine until it is evenly distributed. Wash your hands after applying betamethasone valerate cream. Do not cover the areas being treated with bandages or other dressings unless advised to do so by your doctor. Do not mix betamethasone valerate cream with other medications.
FOR HOW LONG TO TAKE IT?
You should take the dose until you finish the prescription. Do not change the dose or stop it even if you feel better. You should complete the prescribed dose.
OVERDOSE:
In case of an overdose, get emergency medical attention or call the Doctor Immediately.
MISS DOSE:
If you miss a dose of Betnovate Cream, then take it as soon as you remember. Never take the missed dose if the time to take the next dose is almost up. Taking multiple doses at almost the same time can lead to excess medication in your body which can be harmful.
SIDE EFFECTS OF BETNOVATE CREAM:
Stinging, burning, itching, irritation, dryness, or redness of the skin are the common side effects of Betnovate. If any of these effects continue for a longer time or worsen, contact your doctor immediately.
Betnovate Cream may rarely cause serious side effects such as stretch marks, skin thinning or discoloration, acne, extreme and unwanted hair growth, allergic reaction, including: rash, itching or swelling, severe dizziness, trouble breathing.
COMMON DRUG INTERACTIONS:
You must share in advance with your doctor, the list of all medications which you may be using, especially: meconazole, HIV protease inhibitor such as ciclosporin, tacrolimus, sildenafil, quinidine, pimozide. However, this is incomplete information as mentioning all the details for this drug is quite difficult. There may be other medications that may show interaction.
